Who Else is Up For a Shark Adventure at Shedd Aquarium?
The Shark Reef at Shedd Aquarium Chicago will take your breath away as sharks swim by in their tanks and you realize that the only thing standing between you and them is an inch-thick glass tank. No matter how safe you are from the other side, you can't but feel a tinge of fear as the tiger sharks swim by you, sometimes even catching your eye. It's like they're just patiently waiting for that time when the glass tank would suddenly crack or something, and they'll have a feast.
Not to scare you or anything, but that's always how I feel whenever I am in the presence of a tankful of sharks, no matter how much protected I am from them. However, despite the fear they instill in me, I still can't help but just be amazed at how powerful they are. They are one of the most interesting animals that I know, and although scared, I also feel privileged whenever I visit the Shark Reef at Shedd Aquarium, like in the presence of something really powerful, albeit sinister. Going to Shedd Aquarium Chicago helps me understand them more, and makes me even fascinated by them.
